John Deadwyler, President of BCG, is also an Adjunct Professor in the Henry W. Bloch School of Business and Public Administration at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Senior Fellow of the Midwest Center for Nonprofit Leadership. Prior to becoming a private consultant, John spent 20 years with Marion Laboratories/Marion Merrell Dow, a global pharmaceutical company. He most recently served as Vice President of Corporate Community Affairs, was President of the Marion Merrell Dow Foundation and served as a member of the Corporation’s Management Committee. He also served as President and CEO of the Scientific Education Partnership, a strategic alliance between Marion Merrell Dow, the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the University of Kansas, to establish Kansas City as a regional center of excellence in basic research. Earlier in his career, John held key management positions in sales, sales management, product marketing and organizational development. |
